Every year the local Girl Scouts troupe selects an area business or organization to give back to following their iconic cookie sale fundraisers. This year the Girl Scouts selected Murray County Medical Center as the cause they wanted to give back to. On Monday, May 24th, 2021. A few members from the Girl Scouts presented boxes of cookies to the Murray County Medical Center Community Engagement Coordinator, Darlene Mechtenburg. Each of the boxes went to a department at the facility to thank staff for their important work during the past year during the pandemic. Murray County Medical Center would like to thank the Girl Scouts for their generosity and hard work in giving back to the surrounding community. Great job girls!
