Anthony Nwakama, MD, provides outreach orthopedic services and specializes in total joint replacement. He practices the anterior hip replacement approach that is proven to result in faster rehabilitation and reduced hospital time because no muscle detachment from the pelvis or femur occurs compared to other hip replacement methods.

Dr. Nwakama is certified with the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery Association, and has specialized in orthopedics for over 20 years. He is a graduate of the Mayo Graduate School of Medicine in Rochester, MN.
