On Friday, May 28th, 2021, MCC High School held their annual recognition ceremony for graduating seniors. Presenting scholarships at the ceremony on behalf of the Murray County Medical Center and Slayton Kiwanis were CEO Luke Schryvers, Community Engagement Coordinator Darlene Mechtenburg, and Marketing Manager Doria Drost.
Congratulations to the Murray County Medical Center Health Careers Scholarship recipients: Rylan Behnke and Kylie Frisk, and the Slayton Kiwanis Scholarship recipients: Rylan Behnke and Victoria Pierson!
Rylan is the son of DeeDee and Steve Telkamp and Duane and Rebecca Behnke. He plans to attend the University of South Dakota, majoring in Medical Biology.
Kylie is the daughter of Brian and Angie Frisk. She plans to attend Southeast Technical College for Nursing.
Victoria is the daughter of Travis and Daisy Pierson. She plans to attend Baylor University in Waco, TX, majoring in Biology.
We’re excited to see everything these young people accomplish in their future career fields and how they will improve the medical industry.
