Our Foundation helps immensely with raising funds for various health care needs across the community through our event fundraisers. We are always looking for potential projects and initiatives to support across Murray County!
FOUNDATION GRANTS
OUR WAY OF GIVING BACK TO MURRAY COUNTY COMMUNITIES
The Murray County Medical Center Foundation sets aside a portion of funds raised each year to dedicate towards healthy projects and initiatives for Murray County communities. Interested organizations can apply to be grant recipient below.
OUR GRANT PROCESS
1. SUBMIT YOUR APPLICATION
Complete our online grant funding application to be considered a possible recipient for grant funding. Applications must be fully completed in one sitting, so set aside enough time to fully complete your application. Incomplete applications will not be considered by our board for funding. You may resubmit a new application for the same project each calendar year. There is no limit on how many projects an organization may request funding for.
2. APPLICATION REVIEW
Completed applications will be directed to our board members for a thorough review at our regular monthly meeting. Members will discuss applications and vote on whether to approve/deny funds and the amount of funds. These decisions will be made in-line with our grant guidelines as well as the remaining designated grant funding for the year. Due to limited grant funds for each calendar year, applicants are encouraged to submit their completed applications as quickly as possible for the best chance of approval. You may re-submit a grant funding request for the same project each calendar year, even if it has been denied in previous years.
3. FUNDING NOTIFICATION
Once the board has fully reviewed an application and come to an official decision regarding grant funds for a proposal, they will notify the applicant of their decision. Notifications may come by email or phone and will be directed to the contact information provided in the initial application. Please do not reach out to our board members with questions about your application until an official notification has been provided to you as they may not have had a chance yet to review your application materials.
