Well-Child Visits and Pediatrics at MCMC

Did you know? MCMC offers pediatric/well-child visits in the Murray County Clinic!

Yearly well-child visits offer many benefits, such as:

  • Keeping up to date on scheduled immunizations

  • Growth and development tracking and the opportunity to talk with your provider about your child's social behaviors and learning outcomes, as well

  • Development of optimal physical, mental, and social health for the child, due to a team-based approach to care among the primary care provider, parent, and child

  • A chance to voice concerns and/or questions regarding your child's development, behavior, sleeping, eating, etc.

Beginning on Tuesday, Dec. 6th, 2022, children ages 0-5 or 9-16 years old who receive routine care at the Murray County Clinic will be able to participate in Sanford's PLEDGE screening study testing for antibodies related to type 1 diabetes and celiac disease. Talk to your MCMC provider or learn more about the study.

In addition to pediatric/well-child visits, new parents may benefit from the services of MCMC's board-certified lactation consultant - who is available for consult with Murray County Clinic visits.

Be sure to call (507) 836-6153 to learn more about pediatrics, lactation consultation services, and the PLEDGE program at MCMC today!
