Patients & Visitors
Committed to compassionate and excellence in health care.
We want nothing more than our patients and their families and friends that visit to be as comfortable as possible. For your convenience, we have waiting areas in our clinic, hospital, surgery and ER and many amenities to make you as comfortable as possible.
Here at MCMC, we are more than just a hospital. At our center, we have multiple onsite amenities for our patients and visitors.
Your Stay as a Patient
We at MCMC know the importance of comfort when away from home, which is why we go above and beyond for each of our patients.
Dining & Lodging
We have a variety of dining options here in Slayton from our own MCMC Café to many wonderful eating establishments.
Advanced Care Planning
The process of advance care planning (ACP) involves conversations throughout life about your values, beliefs and goals for future health care. ACP conversations focus on your health care goals and what is important to you.
Billing, Insurance & Registration
Murray County Medical Center strives to provide its patients with the best quality healthcare. Our Business Office is available to assist patients with any questions about registration, financial arrangements to pay for services or billing procedures.
Health Care Directives
A health care directive, also known as an advance directive, is a legal document that helps direct your doctors and medical providers whenever you are in need of health care, but are unable to communicate your wishes or preferences.
When you or your family member is a patient at MCMC, you want to be sure you receive the best and safest care possible. Our hospital and health care professionals are committed to providing the best care for you and your family. We ask you and your families to join us in making sure that our care meets your needs. We also encourage you to let us know when it does not.
Tobacco Free Campus
In line with our mission, “Committed to Compassionate & Exceptional Health Care”, Murray County Medical Center is a tobacco free campus. Tobacco use will not be permitted anywhere on the campus, including entrances, lawns, parking lots, cars parked on the campus, sidewalks and driveways. This includes not only cigarettes, but all tobacco products including chewing tobacco and electronic cigarettes (e-cigs).
