Lab Coats & Crayons

Kids Envision Their Health Care

As part of Hospital Week at Murray County Medical Center, children in preschool up to 6th grade had the opportunity to participate in a special healthcare coloring contest hosted by the hospital. Participants had a variety of prompts this year ranging from “My favorite part of MCMC is” to “My provider looks like”. Each of the unique and creative entries was judged by MCMC Auxiliary members on neatness, creativity, and overall appeal. 1st place winners received a lab coat, stethoscope, and ice cream treat from The Hub; 2nd place winners received a stethoscope and ice cream treat; and 3rd place winners received an ice cream treat. All coloring pages were put on display in the Murray County Medical Center lobby for patients and employees to enjoy. Thank you to all of the children that participated for bringing such creativity into the hospital lobby!
