MEDICAL LAB TECHNICIAN/CERTIFIED MEDICAL ASSISTANT

This position is responsible for the collection of laboratory specimens, conducting laboratory testing, in a CLIA certified high-complexity laboratory, for the use in the diagnosis, treatment and management of disease, and maintaining detailed records of tests and procedures performed.  This position will interact with patients of all age groups, and must adhere to the Safety and Infection Control policies established by MCMC demonstrating patience, kindness, and cooperation with clients and co-workers.

MLT/MA certification required with previous experience desired, and must maintain certification of CME.

Looking for candidates interested in a full time or part time position. Hours vary and include rotation of on-call and weekend hours. MCMC offers competitive wages.

Depending on number of hours worked, candidates are eligible for participation in MCMC’s outstanding benefit package, as well as PERA (Public Employees Retirement Association), observed holidays as well as Floaters and Personal Days, vacation and sick time.

DIETARY AIDE/COOK

Murray County Medical Center has an opening for a Dietary Aide/Cook to work weekdays, weeknights, and rotating weekends and holidays. This position would be scheduled to work 16-24 hours per week and up to 29 depending on the need. Main duties include: preparing/serving meals to patients/staff, following patient diet orders, and cleanup of the kitchen area. Confidentiality a must.

 High School diploma or GED preferred. Prior food services experience a plus. Ability to follow written and oral direction, to communicate with MCMC staff, patients, and visitors, and able to follow detailed instructions.

BUSINESS OFFICE COLLECTION SPECIALIST

Murray County Medical Center has an opening for a Business Office Collection Specialist. In this position the right individual would be assigned the task of working self-pay balances due. This includes monitoring accounts, sending collection letters, working with Revenue Recapture for the State of MN and all collection agency activities. This position also assists patients with completing financial assistance forms, assists with determining financial assistance eligibility and monitoring local newspapers for personal representative notices to have the outstanding debt listed for consideration when settling an estate.

Training beyond high school with a focus on accounting or business administration. Medical coding experience a plus. Two years of related work experience preferred.

This person must provide high quality customer service, exhibit professionalism, possess excellent communication skills and follow HIPAA compliance. Confidentiality a must.
